aphranel® Advances Global Medical Exchange Through “The Norns’ Weave,” Connecting Eastern and Western Aesthetic Perspectives
SHANGHAI, China, September 2026 — aphranel®, the regenerative aesthetics brand of MOYOM Biotech, continues to strengthen international medical collaboration through The Norns’ Weave, a global academic exchange initiative connecting physicians across cultures, clinical practices, and aesthetic philosophies.
Inspired by the three Norns of Norse mythology, who weave the threads of past, present, and future, the initiative reflects aphranel®'s philosophy, The Poetics of Time, through three pillars: Dialogue, Exchange, and Convergence.

Built on over 12 years of research and development, aphranel® has expanded its international presence following China's NMPA Class III medical device approval in 2025 and EU MDR certification in 2026. Supported by proprietary CaHA microsphere technology, its MagiCCrystal CaHA biostructure filler is designed to provide immediate structural support, collagen biostimulation, and complete biodegradation.
Connecting Chinese and European Clinical Expertise
From September 20 to 27, Dr. Tiago Guimarães, accompanied by the aphranel® European Medical and Sales Team, visited China for a multi-city clinical immersion programme alongside aphranel®-certified Chinese physicians.
The delegation visited Yestar Medical Aesthetic Hospital and Huamei Zixin Medical Aesthetic Hospital in Guangzhou; Shenzhen Fanyan Aesthetics and Shenzhen Boai Shuguang Hospital in Shenzhen; REAL Medical Aesthetics in Shanghai; and Estee Ryan and JollyHue in Hangzhou.

Through facial aesthetic assessments, clinical case discussions, and injection demonstrations, participating physicians exchanged practical insights into individualized treatment planning and CaHA-based facial biostructuring.
Exploring Facial Structure, Aesthetic Diversity, and Clinical Applications
Real clinical cases formed the foundation of discussions on the relationship between facial structure, soft-tissue support, and aesthetic balance.
Drawing on their respective clinical experiences, Chinese and international physicians explored approaches to deep structural support, tissue repositioning, and personalized facial contouring, with particular attention to maintaining natural facial expressions and individual anatomical characteristics.
While facial anatomies and aesthetic preferences vary across populations, participating physicians shared a common interest in the clinical potential of aphranel® as a new-generation CaHA biostructure filler.
Discussions addressed CaHA applications at different anatomical depths, including deep supraperiosteal structural support and more superficial soft-tissue treatment approaches, within individualized clinical strategies.
Chinese physicians contributed perspectives on East Asian facial characteristics, aesthetic preferences, and individualized treatment planning, while international participants shared observations from their own clinical practices.
These exchanges highlighted a shared objective: understanding how facial structure evolves over time and integrating anatomical knowledge with personalized aesthetic design.
Rather than promoting a single treatment approach, The Norns’ Weave encourages physicians to exchange clinical perspectives while respecting anatomical diversity and individual aesthetic goals.
Building Academic Connections Across Borders
Beyond the China clinical immersion programme, The Norns’ Weave has also facilitated exchanges between Chinese and Middle Eastern medical communities.
At the Saudi Arabian Aesthetic Medicine Scientific Conference (SAAM) in Riyadh, Chinese aesthetic physicians shared facial assessment and injection approaches with Middle Eastern counterparts. Subsequent visits by Middle Eastern medical professionals to MOYOM Biotech's Shanghai headquarters further strengthened this two-way academic dialogue.

From Saudi Arabia to China, these exchanges reflect aphranel®'s commitment to connecting physicians from different cultural and clinical backgrounds.
With more than 620 partner aesthetic clinics, over 700 certified physicians, and more than 200,000 syringes used in China within approximately one year of launch, aphranel® continues to develop its clinical education network through its Train-the-Trainer (TTT) framework and international academic partnerships.
Looking ahead, MOYOM Biotech plans to expand The Norns’ Weave through further European academic exchanges, Expert-to-Expert (E2E) collaborations, and continued clinical evidence development.
Guided by The Poetics of Time, aphranel® remains committed to fostering Dialogue, Exchange, and Convergence, bringing together different clinical perspectives to advance shared understanding and explore the long-term value of regenerative aesthetics.
From Shanghai to the world, The Norns’ Weave continues to connect medical expertise across borders, weaving diverse perspectives into an evolving dialogue on regenerative aesthetics and the beauty of time.
