From 12 Years of Research to International Regulatory Recognition

Founded on a CaHA research programme initiated in 2013, MOYOM Biotech has dedicated over 12 years to developing regenerative biomaterials.

In February 2025, aphranel® MagiCCrystal CaHA Filler received Class III medical device approval from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), becoming China's first approved CaHA microsphere facial filler.

In May 2026, aphranel® achieved another milestone when its CaHA facial filler portfolio obtained EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) certification through BSI, supporting the brand's international expansion.

Since its Chinese market launch in May 2025, aphranel® has reported sales exceeding 200,000 syringes, with a presence across 28 provinces, 94 cities, and more than 1,000 compliant aesthetic medical institutions.

The brand's regulatory progress has also received coverage from Global Times, reflecting growing international interest in Chinese-developed medical aesthetic technologies.

Proprietary CaHA Technology and Complete Biodegradation

As a new-generation CaHA biostructure filler, aphranel® MagiCCrystal is developed using proprietary ACD-MT® microsphere technology and PCD-ETT® carrier gel technology.

Its CaHA microspheres measure approximately 30–35 μm and feature a distinctive raspberry-shaped, through-hole structure. These material characteristics support the product's design for immediate structural support, collagen biostimulation, and complete biodegradation.

The company reports more than 35 domestic patents, six international patents, and safety evaluations across 31 countries, reflecting its continued investment in biomaterial research and international regulatory compliance.

Beyond technology, aphranel® promotes responsible aesthetic treatment through four principles: authentic products, licensed medical institutions, qualified physicians, and compliant procedures.

Connecting Chinese Innovation with Global Motorsport

The partnership between aphranel® and MXGP reflects a shared commitment to precision, performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.

During the Shanghai event, Guangming Lin, Founder and Chairman of MOYOM Biotech, met with Zhang Xue, founder of the Chinese motorcycle brand Zhang Xue, to discuss aphranel®'s EU MDR certification and the international development of Chinese technology.
