MOYOM Biotech Welcomes Strategic Investment from Cathay Capital to Support Global Growth

On September 4, 2026, MOYOM Biotech officially welcomed the Cathay Consumer Co-Creation Fund, under Cathay Capital, as a new investor. This investment marks an important milestone in our development and will support continued research into regenerative biomaterials, product innovation, and the expansion of Aphranel® in China and international markets. Jointly established by Cathay Capital, L'Oréal, and the Shanghai Jing'an District Government, the fund focuses on innovation in beauty, health, and skin science. Through this partnership, we look forward to drawing on Cathay Capital's global industry network to strengthen our research capabilities, commercial development, and international collaborations.

Since our founding in 2018, MOYOM Biotech has focused on regenerative medical biomaterials, particularly calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) technologies and Class III absorbable implantable medical devices. Our flagship brand, Aphranel®, is built on years of original research and two proprietary technologies: ACD-MT® raspberry-shaped, through-hole CaHA microspheres and PCD-ETT® physically cross-linked CMC gel technology. These innovations form the foundation of Aphranel® MagiCCrystal, combining Immediate Shaping, Evolving Regeneration, and Controlled Degradation. Complete biodegradation remains a defining characteristic of our technology and a key focus of our ongoing research.

Aphranel® received Class III medical device registration from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in February 2025, followed by EU MDR certification in May 2026. Since its commercial launch in May 2025, Aphranel® has expanded into more than 700 medical aesthetic institutions across China, including Mylike and Yestar, while over 1,000 physicians have completed Aphranel® certification training. In 2026, we also introduced Aphranel® Arc, further expanding our product portfolio. Alongside these milestones, we continue to strengthen our medical education programmes and clinical collaborations, supporting the responsible application of next-generation CaHA technologies.

With Cathay Capital's support, we will continue investing in scientific research, product development, and international regulatory and commercial capabilities. We also look forward to expanding our partnerships with medical professionals and industry leaders worldwide, bringing China-originated regenerative biomaterial innovation to more global markets and supporting the next stage of growth for MOYOM Biotech and Aphranel®.
